Questions SIM students often ask
Can I view a room before coming to Singapore?
Yes. If you are still overseas, ask us about a virtual viewing. You may also arrange for a friend or someone you trust who is already in Singapore to attend the viewing on your behalf. We’ll confirm the available viewing arrangement and time with you.
Can I secure a room before my Student’s Pass is issued?
Yes. Your Student’s Pass does not need to be issued yet, but you will need to provide us with your In-Principle Approval (IPA) before confirming your accommodation. You can provide your Student’s Pass to Enlyfe after you arrive in Singapore and receive it.
How long is the lease for students?
All Enlyfe student stays are on a 12-month lease term. Before confirming, we’ll explain the lease dates, payment schedule, deposit, utility package and other applicable charges clearly so you know what to expect.
I’m under 18. Does my parent or guardian need to be involved?
Yes. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian is required to be involved in the accommodation process and to complete the relevant consent and signing arrangements. Let us know when you enquire and we’ll explain what is needed.
