Privacy Policy

Last updated 6 October 2026

It applies whenever you interact with Enlyfe — whether you are looking for a home, living with us, visiting one of our homes, communicating with us, using our website or digital services, or working with us.

CCTV and keeping our homes safe

Enlyfe homes may have CCTV in shared or common areas for safety, security, operational management and the protection of residents and property.

We do not install CCTV inside private bedrooms or bathrooms.

  • manage safety and security
  • investigate incidents or complaints
  • resolve disputes
  • protect residents, visitors and property

Recordings are only accessed or shared where there is a reasonable need to do so, such as for operating the home, investigating an incident, enforcing an agreement or complying with the law.

Access and looking after your home

Operating shared homes sometimes creates operational records.

  • access cards or digital locks
  • entry or access records
  • approved visitors
  • maintenance visits
  • housekeeping attendance
  • security-related access
  • other access needed to operate or look after the home

We use these records and arrange access only where reasonably required to operate or look after the home, provide services, carry out inspections, housekeeping, maintenance or repairs, resolve issues, or maintain safety and security.

Who we may share information with

We do not sell your personal information.

  • service providers supporting housekeeping, maintenance, repairs, technology, payments, communications or other operations
  • property owners or their representatives where information is reasonably needed in connection with the property
  • professional advisers
  • insurers
  • our business or operating partners where relevant
  • government, regulatory, law-enforcement or other authorities where required or permitted by law
  • other parties you authorise us to share information with

We aim to share only what is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.

Some of the technology and service providers we use may store or process information outside Singapore. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information continues to receive protection consistent with Singapore’s data-protection requirements.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including operational, legal, accounting, dispute-resolution and compliance purposes.

Different types of information may therefore be kept for different periods.

When information is no longer reasonably required, we will take reasonable steps to delete it, anonymise it or otherwise stop retaining it where appropriate.

How we protect your information

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, loss or similar risks.

Access to personal information is limited according to operational need.

No system can be completely risk-free, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information entrusted to us.

If something goes wrong

If a personal-data breach happens, we will take reasonable steps to contain and investigate it, reduce any risk of harm, and notify affected individuals or the relevant authorities where required by law.

Website, cookies and analytics

Our website and digital services may use cookies and similar technologies to help them work properly and to understand how they are being used.

  • pages visited
  • device or browser information
  • referral sources
  • general usage patterns

We may use this information to keep the website functioning, understand how visitors use it, improve website performance and usability, and understand which content is useful to visitors.

Where consent is required for particular cookies or technologies, we will obtain it where appropriate.

Marketing and staying in touch

If you choose to receive marketing or promotional communications from us, we may contact you about new homes, availability, services, events, offers or other Enlyfe updates.

You can tell us at any time that you no longer wish to receive marketing messages.

Stopping marketing communications will not stop messages that are necessary to respond to an enquiry, manage your stay, operate your home, process transactions or otherwise provide services to you.

Where Singapore’s Do Not Call Registry requirements apply, we will handle marketing communications in accordance with those requirements.

Your choices and rights

  • request access to personal information we hold about you
  • ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • withdraw consent you previously provided
  • raise a question or concern about how we handle your information

Withdrawal of consent may affect our ability to provide certain services where that information is reasonably required to provide them.

Residents under 21

Some Enlyfe residents may be under 21, including residents under 18.

Where relevant, we may collect and use information about a resident’s parent or guardian and communicate with them in connection with the resident’s accommodation, safety or stay.

For residents under 18, we will generally expect a parent or guardian to be involved in the accommodation arrangement and to provide any consent or authorisation that is required.

We take additional care when handling personal information relating to younger residents.

Third-party websites and platforms

Our website or communications may contain links to services operated by other organisations, such as social-media platforms, messaging services, payment providers or other third-party websites.

Those services have their own privacy practices and policies.

Enlyfe is not responsible for how a third party handles information once you choose to interact directly with that third party.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our services, systems or legal requirements change.

When we make changes, we will update the Last updated date at the top of this page.

If a change materially affects how we handle personal information, we may also take additional steps to bring it to your attention where appropriate.
